   Sea of Thieves won't install

   I have had this problem for as long as I can remember and it is that sea of thieves no matter what will not install. also, it is the ONLY thing that won't install/update as everything else works fine. I've tried clean booting my pc (which almost erased all my data ... ) I've also tried looking through files as there could be clashing data but the is NOTHING as a while back my old hard drive broke and I got a new one. <- I don't know if this has something to do with it but it probably does.

   another thing, both Microsoft store and the Xbox app will hold the game at 1% for a minute and then either say an error occurred or just stop the download completely.

   any ideas are appreciated.

   cant install certain games

   i cant uninstall any games as there are no games installed. and my windows is fully updated.

   edit: yesterday evening i succesfully installed sea of thieves but deleted it because othergames wouldnt install and now sea of thieves wont install either there are still some games in the recently installed tab in the start menu

   It'll actually just show up in your downloads under the Sea of Thieves game. No codes. Got to My Games and Apps, then Sea of Thieves, hit manage game and it should be ready to install.

   Missing Pre order email

   If you preordered digitally through Xbox, you won't receive a code. You would already be able to download it. It would either show up in your ready to install area or you'll need to search for it in the store.

   If you preordered it from a retailer, you'll need to contact the retailer you purchased it from for assistance.

   I pre ordered online and I installed the pre order Sea of Thieves AND the pre ordered Sea of Thieves Closed beta. I have two Sea of Thieves in my Games folder now on Xbox One...and neither of them will let me in to the closed beta which started at 4am PST.
   So I assumed you needed a code, which I don't have.
